Maintenance Contracts

A number of our customers elect to take out a Maintenance Contract on purchasing equipment or systems. The contract usually runs for a period of 36 months and the cost is based on the equipment type and model, and length of term.

A Maintenance Contract ensures peace of mind with the knowledge that all electronic failure, firmware updates and programming are covered for the duration of the agreement. We can also include battery replacement within the agreement. (Damage caused by misuse/abuse is not covered and will be charged for on an ad-hoc basis.)

We can, in certain circumstances, offer maintenance contracts on existing equipment, but this will be on a case by case basis.

Servicing

To ensure reliability and efficiency we recommend that your equipment is serviced regularly. Especially before any period of intense use i.e. Harvest, shooting season and major events.

While modern equipment does not require the same level of tuning as older technology, the physical aspects of the radio, antenna connection, antenna, battery, microphone and speaker are all prone to damage during use and could cause failure of communication. A comprehensive service will check all these parameters and highlight any problems

If you have a two-way communications emergency, please contact us as our telephone lines are monitored out of hours and we will endeavour to assist.
