Meet the team
John Wilson
John has over 40 years’ experience in the two-way radio industry starting out when radios were the size of small suitcases and valves and high voltages were the rule.
In 1991, whilst Technical Director of a company providing two-way radio message handling and telephone interconnect services (pre-mobile phones) the opportunity arose to split off the engineering department and Link Radio Services was formed. John’s current role is overseeing company admin and finances, but he still has a keen interest in new technologies and likes to get his hands dirty occasionally.
Outside of work John loves to travel and enjoys eating out on a regular basis. He is a latecomer to running and can often be seen racing around the streets of Norwich.
Mark Hadley (1964 - 2026)
Mark passed away in May 2026. His contribution to Link Radio Services over more than three decades remains central to who we are today.
Mark began his professional career in the Royal Air Force, completing nine years as a radar and radio communications technician. On leaving the RAF Mark then worked for a local communications specialist before starting Link Radio Services with John in 1991.
Over the last 29 years both Mark and John have together created a prosperous and well-respected business, both within the industry and the local community. Initially the job was mostly on-site servicing and installation, but as the company grew, Marks role within the business changed to be predominantly sales, though with a significant engineering bias. Mark particularly enjoys creating partnerships with customers and assisting them to achieve the best communications solution to their needs.
In his spare time Mark enjoys keeping fit, ParkRun especially, with the odd triathlon thrown in. He also enjoys eating out and socialising with friends and family.
