Radio Licensing
We can help you obtain and manage your Business Radio license.
Operation of two-way radio equipment in the UK is regulated by Ofcom. A licence is required for operation of any two-way radio equipment other than specific licence-exempt handheld radios known as PMR446. Other than as used in accordance with a licence (or exemption), the use of radio transmitting equipment is illegal.
Our licensing service
As part of the process of supplying a two-way radio system we will obtain a Business Radio licence on your behalf and charge on to you at cost. Additionally, we offer a licence management service to deal with any technical matters and ensure your future licence renewals are made on time ensuring you are able to continue to operate your radio system legally.
If you need to get your radio system up and running whilst waiting for your licence to be issued, we can supply and install equipment using a โparkingโ frequency for which we hold a licence. Once your own licence is issued, we revisit site to reprogram your equipment to your frequency allocation.
