I have worked with Mark and the team at Link Radio for the best part of two decades to provide event communications. Link demonstrated their professionalism, technical knowledge during the Great Yarmouth air show to ensure our event team had uninterrupted communications between the multi-faceted management team located in multiple locations across the borough of Great Yarmouth. The equipment and technical support were first class, with any technical issues being fixed within minutes. At no point during the build – live event – de-rig did we lose our vitally important communications.
Events
Good communication is vital in ensuring a well-run event. Be it a village fete, a music festival or a sporting event the use of two-way radio will assist in every facet of the event be it car parking, security, health and safety or general organisation.
Link are able to provide suitable equipment, both on a short term hire basis or to purchase, to suit every need, be it six radios operating on a point to point (Simplex) basis, or 90 radios operating over a wide area using repeaters and base equipment.
For wide area coverage, needed on some sporting events such as road cycling, triathlon, or running we are able to provide equipment using PTT over Cellular (POC), which utilises the cellular networks to provide voice communications without the need for extra, temporary infrastructure.
